SkyWatcher Heritage-90 Virtuoso Dobsonian Telescope
Four centuries ago, an Italian scientist, Galileo Galilei, introduced an elementary telescope that changed the science forever. His discoveries provided the solid evidence to disprove the Earth was the center of the Universe. And now, to celebrate the International Year of Astronomy, Sky-Watcher is proud to present the commemorative edition of Newton's Telescope - Heritage.
Designed to be fully functional telescope, this SkyWatcher Heritage-90 Virtuoso Dobsonian Telescope is very simple and easy to use, an ideal gift for young astronomer. Equipped with a Virtuoso™ mount with Freedom-Find™ technology, it allows the telescope to be manually maneuvered in either axis without disrupting the polar alignment; thus creating freedom and convenience to users using the telescope. Besides, the setup also offers camera/video cruising through six preset positions at five different speeds. This ensures smooth picture acquisition of the object without causing it to run off from the field of view. Nonetheless, the Virtuoso mount can be further upgraded to Go-To system by installing the Synscan AZ Go-To handset and cable.

- It's literally for kids!!!! (and beginners)
My boy Fabian was just awe-inspired by what goes beyond this Earth, are there even lives out there and such. He and my love has been visiting the library regularly and we could see he's REALLY interested in understanding the planets! What's worst than not nourishing this seed of passion?!
I read that despite its specs just won't stand against other telescopes with a few dollars on top of, it's the USER FUNCTIONS that's easy-to-use and no-brainer that caught me attention. I had to think and remember that it's my kid that's using it. And until my boy grows a few more years, and until then, we probably won't be retiring this telescope. (Posted on 9/07/2019)
