SkyWatcher EQ8-RH GoTo Mount without Pier
SkyWatcher EQ8-RH GoTo Mount with pier tripod is a computerized Go-To German Equatorial mount that offers a refined design to allow for better balance and more modern features to cater to today’s high-end imagers. The EQ8-RH (h for High Res.) adds a higher level of precision compared to the EQ8-R model. It features an on-Axis Renishaw TONic incremental, 11.8 million tick, encoder on the RA axis. The feature allows the mount to have extreme precision when tracking and guiding for long exposure imaging. With the encoder built onto the RA axis, this removes periodic error to nearly zero in RA with an accuracy of 0.11 arc-seconds
The built-in cable management improves the mount's capabilities for remote use by removing cable drag from hanging cable and reduces the chances of cables getting caught during the imaging sessions. The built-in USB 3.0 USB hub allows you to plug in your camera, guider, filter wheel, and other USB accessories into the hub. The additional 3 built-in 2.1mm ports situated next to the USB hub allows your accessories to also be powered through the mount.
This allows the mount guiding for long exposure imaging and extremely precise tracking. The EQ8-RH as a pro-level mount for series Astro imager with a build-in encoder on RA axis removes periodic error nearly to zero with an accuracy of 0.11 arc-seconds.
The EQ8-RH mount can be paired with the SynScan Pro app by using a Wi-Fi adapter and you can control the telescope wirelessly through your mobile device. With the SynScan app, you can access more than 42900 object database including planets, named stars, double-stars, variable stars, and user-defined objects. The app can be download from Google Play or Apple App Store.
