Sky-Watcher now has a new CQ350 Pro SynScan GoTo Equatorial Mount that is meant to be the best companion for serious astrophotographers. With its 35kg payload, users could attach large optical tube assembly without having to worry about stability. The CQ350 Pro mount is compatible with SkyWatcher CQ350 Pro Heavy Duty Tripod and SkyWatcher Pier Tripod for EQ8.

The CQ350 Pro SynScan GoTo Equatorial Mount comes with a built-in 4-port USB hub which includes 1 shutter release port, 1 power input port, 3 power output ports, 1 hand controller port and 1 AUTO GUIDER port. This allows users to plug in camera, guider, filter wheel and other USB accessories into the hub below the saddle plate. Also, the built-in cable management removes cable drag from hanging cables and reduces the risk of cables get tangled during imaging session. The three built-in 2.1mm ports situated next to the USB hub allows the accessories to also be powered through the mount. This reduces the need for multiple power adapters and other accessories. The ports can be run off of a single power source providing a cleaner set up and less cables.
