The Skywatcher 300mm Solar Filter for Reflector Telescopes allows you to view the sun and solar phenomena safely.It attaches to the front part of your Telescope tube securely and covers the tube opening completely. Its designed to effectively reduce all harmful components of the sun’s rays.
The Solar Safety Film performs as well as high quality plane-parallel glass filters. Metallic coatings are uniformly distributed along both sides of the film’s surface producing excellent color balance from edge to edge.
The Skywatcher 300mm Solar Filter for Reflector Telescopes , allows you to see the details in sunspots, bright faculae near the limb and the mottled areas known as granules. These filters enable the safe viewing of our sun. The sun is one of the most interesting objects in the sky and its details can only unlocked when viewed safely through a solar film.
Completely safe and durable. The film transmits 1/100,000 of visible light (.001%) while reflecting (blocking) 99.999%of unwanted light. The film significantly decreases harmful ultraviolet rays and infrared light.
