The Thermion 2 XQ38 is equipped with highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with NETD lower than 40 mK; the 384x288 resolution microbolometer for the engagement across adverse weather conditions (fog, smog, and rain), as well as bypassing obstacle-to-vision limitations like branches, tall grassland, and dense bushes. It has a detection range of 1350m and able to record video and capture photos at the same time.

Mounting option on any standard 30mm rings without specialized tools offers ease of use, where a recoil rating of 6,000 joules makes a high caliber execution of up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge, and 9.3x64.
