Celestron Astro Fi 6" is a computerized alt-azimuth Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope. The optical tube has a diameter of 150mm and 1500mm focal length, which gives a focal ratio of f/10, perfect for terrestrial and celestial viewing. The telescope kit also comes with a StarPointer™ Red Dot finderscope and 2 eyepieces (40mm, 13mm). The adjustable tripod legs allow users to adjust the telescope’s height. The telescope kit is lightweight and portable, perfect for impromptu observing sessions on the go.
Celestron's patented StarBright® XLT coating significantly increases contrast on subtle lunar, planetary, and nebula details and higher light transmission for brighter deep space images and shorter exposure times. There are three major components in StarBright XLT high-transmission optical system design: Unique enhanced multi-layer mirror coatings, multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, and high-transmission water white glass.
