Nice Yukon Patrol NVSM - Review by Rick Overton
Very pleased with the Performance of this Budget NVS,Simple adjustment for focus.an surprising clear crisp image, with no visible blemish visable as reported on many NVS.and No smear or heavy green colorisation which normally experienced for budget scopes of Gen one devices.I wear perscription eyeglasses and I found the eye relief not a problem.some option upgrades via extra lenses an other are available for this unit which ive ordered to increase the versatility.
twin tactile buttons on top of unit make for simple funtion control with color led indicators.red an green.the whole unit fits the hand well and unit has a full charcoal black rubberised finish for good weather resistance and knock and bump resistance.yes I have dropped it from damp cold hands in wet weather ,and it functioned flawless after this incident.bty has lower screw in fitting to suit a tripod.think I will use this with an aftermarket camera tripod for long term observation for lenghty use outdoors.
Battery life for the twin AAA cells is very good and Ive used the unit with them for many hours already an they still not drained Great!for the $$$ was a very pleasing purchase and am pleased to have this unit in the range of optic devices I have with my binoculars and astro telescopes. Oz Scopes delivered very speedy to me ,after couple days was delivered to my door.an I live in country regional area.Great Oz Scopes,an you guys have a huge range of best priced Gear. Thanks!

A:
The Yukon Patron 2x24 is one of the more basic night vision devices we offer. It is classed as a generation 1 night vision device, and has a magnification of 2x so everything will appear twice as close. The viewing range is 150m.
This unit will be fine for seeing wildlife at night, but you won't be able to make out a lot of specific details. For example, with generation 1 night vision, you will be able to see a person, but won't be able to identify them from their facial features.
This device can be used in low light and complete darkness. There are no additional lenses that can be attached to this unit.
We have it on our website here for $299.95.
