Long-term use of the Yukon Futurus 8-24x50 Zoom Binocular does not strain your eyes – a precision zoom mechanism provides equal magnification in both optical channels of the binocular. Besides the high precision, the mechanism is notable for durability and resistance to intensive use. Ergonomic form and special covering of the housing allow you to hold the Yukon Futurus 8-24x50 Zoom Binocular conveniently and reliably even in wet hands. Rubber-armoured metal housing, flip-up objective caps permit use the binocular in harsh environment (a rain, snow, sand storms).

- A nice piece of equipment but price does dictate value received. A variable magnification range plus fine tuning would be difficult to produce.

We are happy with our purchase regardless of the criticisms above. We are a cattle stud breeder and find the Yukon glasses a fabulous help identifying animals from a distance in paddocks plus sex and location of new born calves in grass hidden by their mothers. These binoculars have many unique features that set them apart from the rest, namely their tough, ergonomic finish, their flip-down objective lens caps, their captive eyepiece lens caps and their superior zoom mechanism. The zoom wheel is much easier to operate than the lever system used on other binoculars and is infinitely smoother. The product specific neck strap is strong and comfortable and the light-weight, nylon case is classy and effective.
