Ok, but needed adjusting before use
    Overall Score
Bought these as a birthday present and decided to test them before actually giving them away. Sure glad I did!

On first use the image was doubled and blurred, I repeatedly went through the steps outlined in the instructions to focus correctly but nothing worked. Was very disappointed and considered returning them as faulty. However I did a quick search and found this to be a common problem. I managed to fix the double image by tightening two screens which sit under the rubberized skin near the eye pieces.

Since then they have been ok to use but I still expected the image to be clearer and I thought they would have been more powerful (magnification wise). The recipient seems to like them though. These are used for terrestrial observing.

    Fantastic ste of binos
    Overall Score
I am very happy with set of binos, I have a smaller set that do not come close to he celestron binos 20 x 80. I will use them to observe stars and to support fire watching in our district. Review by Mr Lee Magnussen (Posted on 6/10/2017)
A great tool for star gazing
    Overall Score
This a great buy for scouting the night sky. Has a large 80mm objective lens that picks up faint objects and large FOV that makes it easy to detect where you are.
Will get the shakes if observing for a while, or trying to see detail on the moon and planets. A tripod would be handy.
Focus control is nice and smooth.

Great Binos.for Astro and land use.
    Overall Score
For their price and size this is a great set of binos. The feel and finish of these binos is excellent.
With 2x 80mm lens's it can gather more light than a lot of the smaller telescopes, while being a lot more portable.
Having the built in tripod adaptor is handy, as while they are somewhat light it is very easy to get the "shakes" as most of the weight is at the lens end. You will see a marked improvement when using a tripod.
I have put them on a tripod with a motor drive and this combination works quite well.
The lens shrouds are threaded so you could add a filter if you can find one big enough, I found that viewing the moon can be too bright and a moon filter would be nice.

    Very pleased.
    Overall Score
I live in a good observing area, the Pilbara Western Australia, and I already have a 12 * Newtonian. It's a great telescope, but sometimes I don't want to go to the effort of setting it up, so the binoculars are an easy intermdiate level of observing between my eyes and telescope.

Very pleased, I should have purchased these along time ago!
