FAQ

Q:
Does the IR illuminator emit a visible red glow?
A:
No, unfortunately the Hornet has a LED IR light that DOES produce a red glow. It is compatible with a PULSAR 940 IR FLASHLIGHT however we don't usually stock these so if that's something you were interested in, we'd need to make a special order with our supplier. It would be roughly around $160.00 for the flashlight alone, plus the night vision monocular, plus shipping. There are only a few models with built in invisible IR, but all are much more expensive. Unfortunately we don't normally list these either however we can make a special order if need be.
Q:
When it says 3.5 magnification, does that mean that you are able to vary the magnification? say 1 through to the 3.5 zoom?
A:
Unfortunately you will not be able to adjust the magnification. The camera only offers a 3.5x optical image magnification not a zoom.
