Best of gen 1+ for the price - Review by VoX
1+ is the sweetest technology for reasonable budget. Amplification tube of this type is exclusively made in Belarus. Many GENII devices can not provide such pic quality indeed. Actually, this one is made in former USSR, at military factory! There is no product of this quality for it's price, I DO SEE this now. (Posted on 17/10/11)

I use the night vision for pig hunting , the first time I used it I was very surprised by the quality being able to see pigs feeding on a crop at 200 m also be able to identify clearly size & sex of the pigs, I shot 32 pigs that night . It has changed the way I hunt . (Posted on 13/10/09)
Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
I am interested in purchasing a Night Vision Monocular for my 15 year old nephew for Christmas. He enjoys camping, fishing, etc. Would the NVA MT3 – Prowler Night Vision Monocular be suitable or would there be something else you could recommend? At $595 I am at the very top of my proposed expenditure. You may have something less expensive. It needs to be robust!
Also, does it have magnification?

A:
We don't actually sell the NVA MT3 – Prowler Night Vision Monocular so I'm not sure how suitable ti will be for your needs.
If you are interested in a really good Generation 1+ monocular, then I highly recommend looking at the Yukon Exelon 3x50 Night Vision Monocular Super Gen 1+. This monocular has a 3x magnification and a 50mm aperture for a nice wide field of view. The Generation 1+ technology means the image will be a lot brighter than the Generation 1 devices. You can find it on our website here:

If you were after something a little cheaper but with a higher magnification and a wider field of view, then I highly recommend the Yukon NV 5x60 Night Vision Monocular. This is a generation 1 device and can be found on our website here:
http://www.ozscopes.com.au/yukon-nv-5x60-night-vision-monocular.html
If you are after something a little smaller but with a more rugged design, I recommend looking at the Spartan series, such as the Yukon 2x24 Water Proof NVMT Spartan Night Vision Monocular which can be found on our website here:

Q:
In your blurb you mention 'Photo- and video-adaptable for image recording'.
How is this achieved?
Nice piece of kit by the way. It does exactly what it says on the tin. I love it.

A:
I believe that just a digital camera adapter will do. It costs $25.00 and it'll work like how it's shown in the image attached. It'll work with your Panasonic video camera, but not your DSLR. The adapter basically has a platform that you can adjust so your camera eyepiece is at the same level looking into the night vision device's eyepiece for recording.
Q:
Does the exelon 3x50 come with a carry bag?
A:
Yes the Exelon 3x50 come with a carry bag
Q:
Is this exelon 3x50 the best device for around $500 or is there another?
A:
Yes the Exelon is the only Gen 1+ Night Vision Monocular at that price so I would agree that it is the best quality device at that price range!
Q:
What comes with this device Yukon exelon 3x50?
A:
The Exelon 3x50 comes with all the necessary caps, hand straps, and Batteries included.
Q:
Can you get a rifle mount for this scope & price?
