Over the last few years I have been looking for a good size set of binoculors that are easy to use with my glasses on but until I got these Vortex Diamondback Binoculars. I had to remove my glasses every time I wanted to use them, now my troubles are over.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
From the picture, it is not obvious if the Vortex Diamondback binocs are adjustable to wide-apart or narrow eyes. I often have to adjust binocs, so are these adjustable?
A:
The Vortex Diamondback Binoculars 8x42 binoculars most certainly do have an adjustable bridge for different eye widths!
Q:
I am thinking to buy Vortex Diamondback Binoculars 8x42. In case of defect , where can I get it replaced? Should I send it back through mail? Where is the retail store of VORTEX in Sydney? What's inculded in lifetime warranty? Are there ANY hidden charges in warranty?
A:
With the Vortex Diamondbacks, if there are any defects, you can return it to us for an replacement if it is within 60 days of your purchase. After the 60 days, the lifetime warranty applies :) You will be able to send it back to the supplier in Queensland for all repairs (http://www.extravision.com.au/catalog/images/werepair.pdf). As for Vortex retailers in Sydney... I can't seem to find any who sell Vortex Diamondbacks in Sydney, but we do deliver binoculars to Sydney, although we're not a physical store and we're based in Victoria.
With regards to what is included in the Vortex VIP lifetime warranty, Vortex will repair or replace your Vortex product for any reason at NO CHARGE TO YOU. It doesn't matter how it happened, whose fault it was, or where you purchased it. It is an Unlimited Lifetime Warranty, Fully transferable, No warranty card to fill out and No receipt needed to hang on to. For Vortex, the supplier Extravision will cover the warranty procedures.

Q:
What size are the Votyex Diamond-backed 8x42 binoculars?
I want a small pair to fit into a pocket. My sister has bought a Leica Ultravid 10x23, but I would like 8x magnification, and a larger "aperture", say 32. Can you recommend anything?

A:
If you are after compact binoculars, I highly recommend getting a pair with an aperture no larger the 32mm. To fit in a pocket, you will probably need to go for something with an even smaller aperture such as a 25mm.
I recommend looking at a roof prism design for portability.
Do you have a budget in mind?
I can recommend looking at some of the following:
Steiner Wildlife Pro 8.5x26 Binoculars

I want to purchase a pair of Vortex diamondback binoculars but want to be sure they are right for me. I have read your guarantee and wonder if I open them to try them will that void that guarantee if they are not suitable.
A:
We are certainly happy to send you the binoculars and allow you to open and test them. If they are not suitable, all we ask is that you retain the original packaging and that they remain in a saleable condition. We are happy to exchange with any other product if you are not happy with them, or we can also offer you a refund minus a 10% restocking fee if you decide to proceed with a change of mind.
