The binos do what they're meant for very well. Easy to set up, comfortable to use and very clear vision.
However, the way the individual lens caps are secured makes them prone to falling off very easily when in the field. There is no way to tether them to the binos or strap. I ended up losing one cap, after several near misses.
The Vortex logo also fell off in the fist day (due to insufficient glue, it seems), making me wonder how much attention to detail actually goes in to the manufacturing of products by this producer.
Will happily keep these binos inside for viewing from balcony, but not something I would take back out into the field.
