Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
I have one Japanese made world class Tasco scope TR416x40 which is 4x-16x40mm. I have only one of the Range Drums. There were seven of the drums. My research tells me that these were made in the late 1960s and early 1970s in Japan. I have been delighted with the quality and range accuracy. Can you tell me where I can get at least one more of the scopes and a complete set of the drums.
A:
Tasco only makes a very limited series of Riflescopes from Japan. We only stock the 3-9x40 in the 30/30 Reticle from Japan.
Q:
What sort of scope would you recommend for dear hunting for 30.06 browning?
A:
Any scope with a 3-9x40 Magnification would work quite well for deer hunting. Something like the Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x40 (http://www.ozscopes.com.au/bushnell-trophy-xlt-3-9x40-rifle-scope.html) would work quite well. I would recommend the Mil-dot reticle.
