Details
Steiner was established in 1947, and has since been world-renowned for some of the best quality optical equipment around. Their military grade binoculars are no different - Steiner's reputation for being one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality optics is among the best in the business. Combine generations of devotion and the best technology for a lifetime of dependable performance!

The Steiner Commander Pro is also known by another name - the Steiner Commander V. Either way, these binoculars enjoy the reputation as being some of the best marine bonoculars around. Steiner has set out to reach new heights with the superior technology of the Commander Pro 7x50 Binoculars.

Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 Binoculars (or Steiner Commander V 7x50) with Compass

These binoculars have set a new milstone in the production of marine optics. The Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 Binoculars binoculars have been engineered with crystal clear optics, and will provide you with some of the best viewing imaginable.

Razor Sharp Optics

With the Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 Binoculars, you can forget all you ever knew about binocular images. With sensational HD high-definition optics, these binoculars utilise special BaK-4 prisms and a unique coating technology. This ensures high light transmission, for clear, high-contrast and three-dimensional viewing.

Internally, the Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 Binoculars utilise a stray light prevention system, adding to the 95% plus peak brightness. The Commander V (or Commander Pro) offers you some of the widest fields of view (FOV) - night or day.

Sturdy Durability

Introducing the legendary durability of Steiner. The high-quality Makrolon ® housing protects the inner workings of the Steiner Commander V - guaranteed to be shock-resistant and absolutely mil spec waterproof (tested to a submersion depth of 5 meters). The rubber armoring offers great grip, protects the binoculars and prevents slippage on wet surfaces.

The optional flotation strap will keep the Commander V safely afloat. The nitrogen pressure system completely eliminates inner fogging from - 40 °C to + 80 °C and the intelligent prism suspension - with a carriage made of special silicon - will keep your vision completely aligned.

Most importantly, the compass integration has been changed altogether, and the entire compass assembly is housed within the binocular. The entire compass is also rubber armored!

Comfort and Convenience

The Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 Binoculars comes inbuilt with Intelligent Automatic Focussing, offereing depth of field from 20 yards/infinity to infinity. Its ergonomically shaped wraparound eyecups - with ventilated oculars - protect your eyes from peripheral light.

A reliable, extra-large compass with a new reticle will ensure you never lose your way. It covers considerably less of the viewing area than previous models, and the compass' illumination button is easy to operate even with gloves on, thanks to a marked action point.

Furthermore, the angling of the binoculars won't need changing when removing or replacing the rain-protection cover. The patent Clic-Loc quick-change system allows you switch your carrying strap for a flotation strap in mere seconds!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:
I am interested in the Steiner 7 x 50 Commander Pro with compass, your stock number STR7560. I live in Brisbane which is close to the border of zone 4 & 5. Which zone is the compass set for on your stock?

A:
According to the Australian Steiner technician, the compass has enough variation within them to still provide you accurate readings even in zone 4 areas, so that shouldn't be a problem!
