    Description

    Sky-Watcher 70/700 AZ2 Refractor Telescope

Learning or interested in Astronomy? Sky-Watcher 707 az2 Telescope is an excellent 70mm achromatic refractor telescope that is perfectly suited for beginners. It has enough light gathering power to deliver clear, crisp and detailed images of our nearest planetary neighbours and even some of the brighter deep space objects. Aside from stargazing, this refractor telescope is also suitable for terrestrial viewing.

    Superb Imaging Qualities
This achromatic refractor from Skywatcher features an aperture of 70mm and is fully multi-coated to enhance light transmission. It delivers clear, high contrast images of the moon and the planets. Those new to Astronomy will appreciate how simple and easy this telescope is to use.

    The Refractor Advantage
Images viewed through a refractor telescope have a classic quality that other telescope designs lack. Since a refractor does not use mirrors to view objects, you get a generally brighter image. Images are also displayed right side up, making it suitable for viewing terrestrial objects when attached to an Alt-Azimuth mount.

    Sturdy and Precise
The Alt-Azimuth mount provides a sturdy and secure platform for viewing. Precision gears and mechanical parts ensure accurate tracking and slewing. It is also easy to assemble so you can start viewing a few minutes after you arrive at your favorite spot!

*Please note, the image through all finder scopes will be upside down.

Was very pleased with the quality of this telescope. Took no time to set up- within half an hour we were gazing at the moons of Jupiter! Can't wait to take it away from the city lights and really see what it can do. Highly recommend this as a first scope.

Purchased this for myself, having loved the sky and never having used a telescope. This was a quick and swift 45 minute set-up, along with an easy-to-read manual that shows everything you need to know about the 70 AZ2.

Delivery was quick, and the view of the moon has been so amazing. Easily able to spot certain stars, venus, jupiter and her moons too! Really happy to have purchased this.

It took us a while to get going with our first telescope (and the weather didn't cooperate much!) but I think we have finally got the hang of it. I was ridiculously happy about zooming in on the moon and look forward to clearer skies and spotting more!

I am a first timer who just wanted to look into the skies and explore outer space. Although good at looking at the moon and focusing in on stars focusing on much else is pretty challenging, as I practice with it I learn how to use the other attachments slowly but without good instructions it is a challenging task.
