    SkyWatcher Solar Filter for Reflector Telescopes

    With the Skywatcher Solar Filter for Reflector Telescopes , you will be able to observe the sun and view all solar phenomenas safely. With the optical performance of high quality plane-parallel glass filters, this solar filter allows you to see the details in sunspots, bright faculae near the limb and the mottled areas known as granules. Both sides of the film’s surface are covered in metal coatings, providing color balance to the user from edge to edge. The German National Bureau of Standards have declared that the Baader Astro Solar film safe for direct solar viewing.

    The Skywatcher Solar Filter needs to be placed firmly and securely over the front of your telescope. Once attached, the film will only allow 0.001% of the visible light through to your telescope whilst the other 99.999% will be reflected away. These filters enable the safe viewing of our Sun by decreasing the harmful ultraviolet rays in Sun light. They are durable if handled with care.
     
    For use with the following Telescope Models: SkyWatcher Newtonian telescopes, SkyWatcher Refractor telescopes and Saxon Refractor telescopes

    Your Skywatcher Products is under Warranty

    Your Skywatcher® product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for FIVE year after the date of purchase. In the event of a defect under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, provided that you return the product with proof of the receipt.

    This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper handling, installation, collimation or maintenance provided by someone other than a Skywatcher Authorized Service Department.

    For Skywatcher Products purchased elsewhere, will NOT qualify for manufacturers warranty from us, it must be returned to the place of purchase to resolve any issues.
