The Skywatcher Single Axis RA Motor for EQ3 Mount allows the telescope to track and follow celestial objects in the night sky. It will decrease the need for manual adjustments when tracking sky objects. This is a huge advantage during high magnification where every single move can potentially disturb targeting. The motor automatically matches the speed of the Earth?タ?s rotation allowing it to track objects steadily. It also has the ability to switch tracking mode from Northern to Southern Hemisphere. An adjuster on the motor enables fine tuning and calibration of the motor?タ?s tracking rate. It is powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery that should last up to 40 hours of tracking.
