Great eyepiece- clear to the edge and improved contrast, even with an fast telescope (4.5 F) however the photo for the eyepiece is incorrect. I received a completely different eyepiece that has only 58 degrees. it's still a 9mm ultra wide angle eyepiece just the field of view is not 82 degrees as the photo shows. So be aware it's only a 58 degree eyepiece!!!
However the eyepiece is well made and is clear to look through- Is hard to use with a Barlow lens as a kidney bean effect is present. But if one keeps their eye close to the center of view it's not noticeable- I don't recommend for people who wear eyeglasses when using Barlow.
Great for looking at the moon and planets including splitting double stars.
If you have eyepieces such as the Plossl, Huygens, Ramsden, Kellner or "Achromat", Orthoscopic or "Abbe", RKE and Monocentric, this eyepiece will not disappoint. There will be improved "seeing" and increased field of view.
BUT if you own Erfle, König or Nagler the seeing is good but the field of view you are use too will be smaller making this eyepiece disappointing.

I like it so much I may just buy the 7mm version as well. - Review by

The first thing you notice when looking through this eyepiece is the wide view. At 82 degrees of apparent field it’s highly engaging. This also makes it easier to find and track celestial objects. With it’s miniscule chromatic aberration, the colors of Jupiter are so much sweeter and it’s moons are pin sharp. All thanks to the well coated 7 element optics. Thanks for the great service and a great eyepiece Ozscopes.
