The new high resolution Saxon ED Refractor (OTA) Scope contains a single element made from ED(Extra-Low Dispersion) FPL-53 Glass. This glass minimizes chromatic aberration and provides superior resolution and contrast. Any colour fringing around objects is completely eliminated with the ED80.
The ED Refractors also feature a backlash-free 2” crayford focuser. The focuser wheels contain brushed aluminium hubs with ridged rubber grip rings.
These ED Scopes are ideal for visual applications as well as astrophotography. They come in OTA but can be ordered together with our heavy duty tripods and/or mounts.
