Details
If you’re looking for a dual-purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing, then the Celestron AstroMaster 90AZ Refractor Telescope is for you. Each AstroMaster model is capable of giving correct views of land and sky.

The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:
looking at scope mainly for land viewing selected celetron 90 eq2 but your user info recommeneded 90 az for its alt az mount.
but none in stock. should i stick with eq2 or could you suggest somthing else .
absolute max $ 400
A:
The EQ mount is more suitable for astronomical use (track sky objects). The Alt Azimuth (AZ) mount is easier to control, making it more suitable for land viewing.

I would recommend this Saxon 909AZ, based on your price range and usage.

It's also a Refractor telescope and has the same aperture (90mm), AZ mount as the Celestron 90AZ. It is easy to set up and comes with 3-year Australian Warranty.
