    Great first telescope
    Overall Score
This is a great first telescope. Using an additional Barlow lenses I could see the textured bands on Jupiter the first night using it. However adjusting the position of the scope, (like when trying to follow Jupiters path across the sky) was very difficult. The points of articulation were all very stiff and sticky, making fine adjustments almost impossible. Often the tripod legs would lift off the ground before the telescope would move so you would have to brace the tripod with one hand while heftily wrenching the scope with the other. It made the process feel like hard work instead of a leisurely and joyous experience. However I'm still really happy I bought it and I'm hoping that will loosen over time. Enjoying first attempt at using it, just slight trouble with focus, will practise! Review by Jan Curle (Posted on 6/10/2017)
Amazing images all the family enjoyed
    Overall Score
Bought this for my sons birthday and couldn't wait to use it, bad weather meant it was limited to daytime terrestrial viewing, but finally managed to get it out on a near full moon - the images were amazing and the clarity suberb using the 20mm eyepiece. we also bought the filter kit and with the moon filter on it gave an amazing definition to the image. Going camping soon and it will come with us for some nice dark sky viewing. I think i'm more excited than he is!!! Review by Steve Roberts (Posted on 6/10/2017)
