Got it for Christmas and have only used it a few times. The moon looks fantastic even at the lowest magnification. It gives crisp images. I plan to use it a lot!

Would it be possible to fit a lightweight dslr to this and do some quick and easy photo's?
Good afternoon, Thanks for the email. Yes you can attach a DSLR to this however it definitely would need to be light weight as the scope isn't very big. the scope itself would give you good views of the moon and some closer nebulae, as well as star constellations but is really pushing it to see planets. To attach a camera you need a t-adapter and t-ring the same brand as your camera. Celestron 1.25" Universal Barlow Lens and T-Adapter - http://www.ozscopes.com.au/celestron-1-25-universal-barlow-lens-and-t-adapter.html and one of the following t-rings. http://www.ozscopes.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=t-ring Thanks
Is it possible to buy the EQ mount for a Astromaster 70EQ separately, and if so how much would it cost.
Unfortunately all the telescopes come fixed with their EQ mounts and the mounts itself are not available for purchase separately. This includes the Astromaster EQ mounts :( The only mounts we have is the ones we have here http://www.ozscopes.com.au/accessories/mounts-tripods. An EQ mount that is similar to the Astromaster one, but better, is this Saxon EQ5 mount (http://www.ozscopes.com.au/saxon-eq5-mount-w-steel-tripod.html).
    How heavy is this?
The Celestron AstroMaster 70EQ weighs around 8.16kg.
