The Celestron Star Hopper 6" Dobsonian Telescope is ideal for those starting out their astronomical adventures but looking for something more powerful and longer lasting than standard telescopes equatorial mounted telescopes.

The most portable and affordable of the StarHopper line, this 6" Dobsonian telescope uses optical quality BK-7 glass, this is the same high-quality glass used in most binocular prisms and refractor telescope lenses. It uses a roller track bearing on the azimuth surface providing dozens of support points for smooth swivel motion. It also uses a variable tension clutch system for proper balance and control in both altitude and azimuth.

Some of its special features include:
  • - High quality 6" Dobsonian reflector

  • - BK7 optical quality glass for clear, sharp views

  • - Roller track bearing on azimuth surface provides dozens of support points for smooth swivel motion

  • - Variable tension clutch system for proper balance and smooth control in both altitude and azimuth

  • - Includes 1-1/4" 25 mm Plössl eyepiece for wide field observing

  • - 6x30 finderscope for accurately locating objects

How long will it take for my order to arrive? The Total Delivery Time for your order is calculated from the moment your order is placed until the time you receive it. The diagram below shows how your Total Delivery Time is broken down into two parts, pre-ship processing time and shipping time:

Pre-Ship Processing Time is measured from when you submit your order to when it leaves our warehouse. This time is needed for products that are shipped directly from the manufacturers to our distribution facilities. Manufacturers need this time to fulfil your order and in some cases, custom build the product.

Shipping Time is measured from when your order leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your home or office. Your order will usually be delivered by either Australia Post eParcel or Australian Air Express courier services depending on your location. These services provide a fast and secure delivery method for your order.

*Estimated Shipping Times are based on estimated service standards promised by our couriers and are not a service level guarantee. Due to certain unforseen circumstances, shipping times could be less or more than the estimated shipping times above.
