It does it's job, but needs a lens cap. - Review by Ant32bit
The t-adapter secures well to my t-ring and is a very sturdy. The problem is, when using an eyepiece and putting the camera aside, there is a gaping hole where dust particles can enter the internal mechanism. The T-adapter comes with a protective cover, but it is facing inside the camera. When the t-adapter, t-ring and camera are secured, you can not remove this cover. Some sort of protection on the opposite side would have been more helpful. (Posted on 20/08/11)

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
I have a Celestron Aeromaster 130 and am trying to use it with a Canon 400d DSLR, T-ring and Adapter, but have difficulty focusing without the usual lenses attached to the camera body! Can the telescope be used with only the camera body?
A:
Generally, you should be able to use the camera without the lens and still be able to focus the image, however, sometimes with reflector telescopes, the focal length is too short for the camera to establish a focused image.
In these cases, we recommend getting a Saxon Variable Eyepiece Projection Camera Adapter - 1.25" which will normally remedy this issue.
You can find the Saxon Variable Eyepiece Projection Camera Adapter - 1.25" on our website here:

Q:
I have a Celestron Airmaster130eq and a Sony A230 digital slr camera. Whats the best accessories to get to combine the two for great shots of the moon?
A:
The best accessories to get for astrophotography for your telescope and dSLR are T-rings and T-adapters.
You can view a description for the T-ring here: http://www.ozscopes.com.au/celestron-t-ring-for-35-mm-minolta-maxxum-camera.html and for the adapter here: http://www.ozscopes.com.au/celestron-t-adapter-universal-1-25-in.html
They are sold separately and you need them both for astrophotography. Basically, the T-Ring is used to replace the lens cap on your dSLR (Celestron does not currently produce one specifically for Sony cameras, but its specifications are similar to that of Minolta) and the Adapter is used to replace the eyepiece on the telescope. You can then attach the T-ring + dSLR to the Adapter + Telescope, and the final product looks like the telescope acting as a lens for your dSLR :)
