    Celestron SkyProdigy 6 GOTO Telescope

    Celestron SkyProdigy Telescope is one of the smartest telescope available in the market now, a product created from decades of optical research and enhancements. Integrated with Celestron's ground breaking technology, Skyprodigy Telescope is a truly revolutionary telescope which do not require any astronomy knowledge to use it, simply turn it on, push a button and wait for few minutes, you can enjoy the view like an astronomer.

    In order to automatically align with the sky and determine the direction of the telescopes currently pointing at, Celestron's Skyprodigy Telescopes use an integrated imaging camera with patented StarSense technology to capture an image of the sky, which then processed internally to identify the stars in the image. Once a match is found, this SkyProdigy Telescopes will determine the coordinates of the center of the captured image. This process will run for three times so the SkyProdigy system has three known alignment points, then user can select any celestial object in the hand controller's database, the telescope will automatically move to the correct position.

    *The integrated imaging camera DOES NOT have an external output for user to view or save the captured images. The captured images are only for the purpose of automatic aligning.

    Celestron Limited Warranty

    Celestron warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the length of time specified by this product to the original owner. Each product will list the warranty for it on our website.

    Celestron will repair or replace the product which, upon inspection by Celestron, is found to be defective in materials or workmanship and within the definitions of the limits described below.

    This warranty is effective January 1, 2012, and supersedes all other warranties as noted in brochures, instruction manuals, product packaging, etc.

    This warranty does not cover products that have been subject to abuse, misuse, physically damaged, altered, or had unauthorized repairs or modifications. This warranty does not cover defects due to normal wear and tear and other conditions.

    Celestron shall use reasonable efforts to repair or replace any binocular or spotting scope covered by this warranty within thirty calendar days of receipt. If it takes longer, the customer will be notified.
