Very happy with the sighting range this scope delivers. Seeing targets at 100yards to 400yards is outstanding. great for use at target ranges or out on the field . Highly recommended for 1st time scope buyers. Cheap and gets the job done .

This spotting scope would be perfect for that! The Celestron 15-45x 50mm Zoom Refractor Straight Spotting Scope is actually a really compact unit which makes it easy to move around. It does have a lower magnification range than some of the other scopes, however, it will give you a much higher magnification than binoculars!

The scope itself comes with only a table-top tripod though, so if you need a full size tripod, then I recommend purchasing something like the SAXON HVT11 Heavy Duty Tripod for Binoculars, Cameras and Spotting which can be found on our website here:
