I did receive the binoculars the day after I followed up to see where they were (they hadn’t left the warehouse). The Barska 10x42 Lucid View Binoculars were a gift for my partner and he was very happy with them, they are perfect for his needs, however after one day of use the neck strap broke.
Overall I am generaly happy with the product (the neck strap breaking was not great) and the problem of the order not leaving the warehouse was sorted quickly without hassel.

I am unable to review the product as such, as it was purchased as a Christmas gift. However, after reading the other reviews, I'm hoping they will be good for my husband to view the local bird life (feathered variety!)

The 10x42 Lucid View is a good lightweight set of glasses, ideal for bush walking or hiking. Don't expect top quality vision in lower light - early morning or evening - but more than good enough in clear light. I like to attach a quality neck strap or harness to my bino's but this is not possible with these - might come out on the next version though. The strap is certainly not a strong point. The 10 power appears more like 8 to 9 when compared to more expensive glasses but, again, for the money is more than enough.
Overall, they are well worth the outlay, are light and easy to carry and present a clear view under reasonable light conditions. (Posted on 5/09/11)

I ordered the binoculars on Wednesday and received them in Perth WA on the following friday. They are perfect for bird watching, being very light weight with a crisp image.
Have ordered a second pair for my 5 year old grandson in NSW, for him to also enjoy.
