Written in a way that's easy to understand and as a novice / beginner ,It,s very important
to be able to read and absorb the facts readily.
Also, page and map references are constantly referred to for ease of use and the star maps and planet paths are so comprehensive.

I would recommend this guide to any budding astronomer; its informative, but simple and easy to understand, and is the perfect companion to the naked eye, binoculars or telescope with its maps of the night sky, showing positions of stars, nebulae, constellations, planets and moon phases. Re Astronomy 2012 Australia - Review by Merv Bozier
I Find the 2012 version is far more informative than previous versions and an asset for finding your way around the night sky, it has lots of educational reading.
An added star chart for each month would be handy for marking points of interest for when you travel long distances away from the city lights.
