Found the Acuter 15x70s light enough to hold. Decent views of Jewel Box & Southern Pleiades star clusters; Orion's Belt just fits into the FOV. Right diopter focus is limited, but fairly crisp overall with the middle focus. Replaced the strap with a stronger one, so it's now more secure and soft on the neck. Happy I switched from my 10x50s.

I used them first time and found it excellent viewing focusing. I would however like to have a stand to view the sky. You really need to prop yourself with the high magnification. Other than that, very satisfied and already put to good use.

Bought these for astronomical use because of their high magnification, large diameter lenses and ED fully multicoated glass at unbelievably low cost. They have not disappointed for this purpose but I would not recommend them for terrestrial use as I find them too difficult to hold steady without a tripod and would find the slight colour fringing an annoyance under these conditions, (surprising for such quality glass).Overall, these are surprisingly good value and a steal at the price.

I just took delivery and did a quick test of these 15x70 Acuter Binos.

Optical quality and build are surprisingly very good for the price.

I did quick check for quality and crunched some numbers

I love the ED (extra dispersion) Objective Lens; usually found in high
end digital camera lenses and they have high quality BAK-4 Porro Prism.

Apparent Field of View is 4.8 degrees with an exit pupil of 4.7 mm
which great as human eye is around 5mm and it has an Adler index of
125.5, which is very good when comparing to other Bino configurations
that have different magnifications and objective lens.

They are not that heavy to hold compared to other brands.

    Tip:

You don't need a tripod, as long as you hold them near the front of the
objective lens, elbows tucked in to chest to form a stable triangle and
    you'll be right - easy !'

I was quite surprised by the clarity of these binoculars, despite the low price. They are not too big to hold and can also be mounted onto a tripod. Very easy to focus and provide great views.
